We spend the weekend in Bandung this week, accompanying Elok, who has office event there. Without prior planning, we arrange a lunch together in valley Restaurant, Dago Pakar with Mas Oyi’s family, who happen to be in Bandung for Ingga’s school briefing.

Ah-Poong, Ah-So Crowded!
Long weekend this week, and we tried visiting the rising-on-popularity food place Ah-Poong in Sentul City. Geez the place is so crowded, full with Jakarta visitors trying to look for alternative recreation place other than malls. It’s difficult just to look for place to sit! Oh well.
Mary Poppins – Cikal Theater Performance
Aya took part in her shool’s performance today in Taman Ismail Marzuki. Played the act from legendary Mary Poppins musical opera show, the kids from Year 6,7 and 8 Cikal High School performed admirably for this rather-technically-difficult show. “Splendid”, as Mr. Banks would say!
Bapak’s 74th Birthday
Alhamdulillah, my father-in-law is celebrating his 74th birthday today, happily surrounded by all families: wife, children and grandchildren. Senantiasa sehat dan bahagia ya Bapak! Amin.
Aya on Stage
Aya and her friend Azzah were in stage in Citos this morning, duet singing in Education Fair held by their school, Cikal Amri. She did it very well, well enough to surprise me that my little girl is actually quite talented in singing! You go girl!
