Apparently traditional water well fascinates these city kids. They never see it, let alone to know how it works. So when they found one in Tegalsari (our mother’s birthplace), they were really interested to see Mbak Wiek demonstrated how to get water from down below 🙂

Visiting Grandfather & Grandmother’s Cemetery
One of our main purposes for taking this trip is to take the Kresnadi’s grandchildren visiting the cemetery of their grandfather and grandmother, whom they never see. At least they can send a prayer to them.

Last Pit Stop Before Semarang
We made our last stop before heading to Semarang: to do our dhuhur and ashar prayer in gas station between Tegal and Pekalongan, 180km west side of Semarang. Here Rafif and Ezra posed before we continue our trip.
Lunch at RM Sakinah, Tanjung
We stopped for lunch in RM Sakinah, Tanjung (near Brebes), serving a famous lamb satay, complete with traditional tea known as “The Poci”.
