While the rest of family shopped in various stores in Corniche, my father-in-law chose to be involved in engaged discussion around Islamic philosophy with one of our muthowif. A better way to spend time, I suppose 🙂

Corniche Commercial Center

While waiting our hotel rooms to be prepared, we were taken to Corniche Commercial Center, a modern market center in Jeddah, a place where you can find a lot of Indonesian (owned) shops and restaurant. Not bad for last minute gift ideas 🙂

Visiting Camel Farm

On our way to Jeddah we stopped by a camel farm which is located just on the side of highway. Some of our jamaah used the opportunity to buy camel milk. But the kids, Rafif, especially, really fascinated just to meet and pet the big camel from close quarter.

All Bags are Packed and We’re Off to Jeddah

Finally it’s time to pack our bags and leave Mekkah Al Mukarromah and head to Jeddah, our last stop before we’re heading home. It’s been a religiously engaging experience so far. Hope it is “mabrur”. Amin.
