Alhamdulillah, today I move to another year in my life. The past 53rd year has been great. I’ve been blessed with great life, lovely family, good career and memorable experiences.

But the past year have been non ordinary. For the first time in my life, I decided to leave the corporate life. I jumped into a more flexible, albeit non permanent, consulting and training world.

It was my first profession, and personally, one that is close to my passion and fit to my personality. Had spent more than 20 years in corporate world, I think it’s about time for me to reap all of my experiences and leverage it for my new career.

And Alhamdulillah, it’s been going on well so far. I might not in fully 100% entrepreneurship mode, but I laid a good foundation for building my own venture. I was blessed to get stable source of income, while honing to the skills I needed to make it a successful venture.

On a more personal side, I’m also blessed to finally be able to complete the construction of our Home Stay business in Jogja. The house, affectionally named as “Dalem Kamulyan” has been beautifully built. It turned out better than our expectation, really.

And having started the construction with much reduced budget, we were finally able to carve out money from our savings, and make it operational as Home Stay starting 1 May 2026. Alhamdulillah.

So I began this day with a heart full of gratitude to Allah SWT. For making all of these possible. And bless me with good health, lovely family and great life.

Hence, I decided few weeks ago to invite all of my family to celebrate this moment with me, over a family lunch in Three Uncle Restaurant, BSD. Alhamdulillah.
