Still part of my boss, Mr. Tony Turner, farewell, we had a farewell golf game today at Soewarna Golf Club, Cengkareng.
Took Texas Scramble as competition format, we played 18 holes in 4-men team. I teamed up with Tony, Stuart and Blake, pitted off against Sumit, Petrus, Andrew and Raghu.

It was a great fun. Albeit in the end we had to concede to the other team. Darn. (Never like losing, myself).
Individually, actually I played okay. Probably if I played a stroke play, i would be a 87-88 score, which was not bad considering I haven’t swung a golf club for 2 months (because of Ramadhan and Idul Fitri festive). I made few clutch putts and approaches, which helped the team to keep up in the game. Honestly, I tend to perform better under pressure. Well it’s my competitive spirit. That’s why I only love sports with competition in it, especially against friends. Running and fitness bore the hell of me.

In the end, it was real proper send off to great man, Tony, who had served our group for more than 30 years. Thank you for everything, and see you in November when you’re back in Indonesia.
I hope we’ll win that time. LOL.
