It would be hard to leave this city without running on Lincoln Memorial.

The spot is an icon for the city and become more famous, popularized by movies such as Forrest Gump, Independence Day, and of course, that’s running scene when Captain America shouted “on your left!” to Falcon.

I pushed a bit for a pace, fueled by fellow runners who seem to be a bit competitive around the Lincoln Memorial building. But of course, with the views this good, it’s hard to resist the temptation to take good pictures 😗
