Last year I vowed to continue our tradition to have couple trip for our wedding anniversary.
We didn’t do this ritual in 2024 and 2025 for some reason. And I felt there’s something missing. I think we need this.
And yes, that’s really true. After spending quite heavy lifting last few weeks (and for Elok even longer as Indonesian market is really bad nowadays), I think we deserved this vacation.
Leaving after midnight from Jakarta, we arrived in Beijing at 10 am.
Alas, Beijing was poured in heavy rain. Luckily we still find a really nice Halal Food restaurant near our hotel in Wangfujing area. So after we had a nice lunch, we went back to our hotel for a much-needed afternoon nap.
In the evening, after the rain subsides, we wander around the neighborhood: Wangfujing shopping district.
Hopefully the weather tomorrow is much better as in forecast, and we will have great time in this capital of China!
Thank you for spending 28 years together darling. We wander together, forever.
