I first tried Jumbo back in 2006, in their original outlet at East Coast. Last weekend we came with family and friends. And I have to say it still tastes as good as before. The chili crab is such a delightful dishes to have with family and friends.

As it was in Saturday night, the place was full and packed. And it’s Singapore GP F1 weekend, so tourists have been everywhere. We didn’t do reservation, but came a bit late around 8.30 pm. But Jumbo has this queueing system which is very good. Less than 10 minutes we were notified via text our table was ready.

We ordered chili crabs, spinach, mantau bun and egg fried rice. All of them are excellent. The waiting time for food is okay, although shorter maybe better, but understandable as the place is packed.

In the end, we’re happy with our dinner. An old favorite has not lost its charm!
