Gila Farewell Golf

The “Moving On” celebration continues.

This time it took place at Rainbow Hills golf course. Thanks to my fellow golfer and great colleague, Anurag, who initiated this “farewell golf” for me and Andrew Life, one of our expat colleagues who will return back to UK.

He initiated the event and organized the competition, complete with arrangements of the GILA trophies.

The four flights

13 HSBC golfers joined the competition, grouped into 4 flights. We played net stroke system, with real handicap assigned.

It was such a fun and nice game. Under fresh and clear weather of Rainbow Hills GC, everybody had great time. Well, some had better time than others, played well and won those GILA trophies. Myself included ☺️

I’m so blessed to be around these nice guys for significant amount of time at the workplace. I’m going to miss them for sure, but I certainly hope our golf rounds and friendship continue even after my service with Hexagon ends.
