After several months in the making, today Aya and her class mates presented and showcased their personal project in Sekolah Menengah Cikal Amri. Personal project is a required project for each student to complete their Middle Year Program studies. This should be a real-life application project which student has to initiate, lead and drive to completion. For her personal project, Aya chose to design and produce ladies bags and pouches using “Bali Tenun”, and sold it online through social media (Instagram: @faiteparathaya). She has completed her project and sold out all of her bags, which I think was very successful.
Today she presented her project and in an exhibition-setting, she showcased her project to parents, teachers and students from other schools. It’s such a pleasant surprise to see her standing confidently presenting her project to all audiences (she also played bass in her class band!). She also did well in showcasing her project in her booth. All the hard work pays off! Congratulations, Mbak Aya! Thanks to everybody who has supported her.
