Although with very little preparation, this morning we successfully observed solar eclipse at Ancol Beach Jakarta. Thanks to my sister, Mbak Wik and her family, who brought along the props: X-Ray films (what a great help) and the plastic matress so we could have picnic by the beach while observing one of the most incredible nature phenomenon. Hope the kids will remember this until they see another one, in probably 30 years time!
