Bringing my drone for this trip, I’m a bit disappointed to learn that there’s ‘No Fly Zone’ for drone in all NZ National Parks.

However, on our way from Queenstown to Te Anau, we drive along Kinston Road, which offers stunning view of Wakatipu Lake in its deep blue state due to perfect weather.

It really tempted me to fly the drone. But unfamiliar with the location made me a bit hesitant at first. But then, we took the risk to stop aside and fly the drone. When the rest of our group caught up, I managed to capture one of the camper van moving. Just like I envisioned back home. I’m a happy guy ☺️
